Maya Mueble, founded in 2011 by brother-sister team Brian and Emily Prendergast, is a socially conscious line of modern furniture and textiles. Combining our backgrounds in merchandising and international business, we started Maya Mueble in hopes of creating sustainable relationships with artisans and providing an opportunity for economic empowerment. By working directly with artisans in Guatemala and El Salvador, we’re able to integrate traditional techniques of the regions with modern design and ultimately deliver our one-of-a-kind products straight from artisans’ workshops into the homes of our customers. We are proud and humbled to collaborate with these skilled artisans and share their handcrafted traditions with you.
