Vintage items ship out within 2 business days. For handmade products, check the item's individual page to see the estimated handling time. Once an order has been shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email. Though ground shipping can take up to 5 business days, most orders arrive within 3 days of their ship date.
We hate to see good trees die unnecessarily. That's why our packages include recycled brown kraft paper, shred made of paper scraps and old design magazines, and cushioning handmade from heat-sealed plastic grocery bags filled with our shred mix. Bubble wrap is used as needed to keep your purchases safe! Please reuse or recycle the packaging
in any way you can. Note: some handmade items come directly from the designer and may arrive in different packaging.
FURNITURE
Purchasing furniture online can be a hassle, which is why we try to offer as many shipping and delivery options as possible. Prices at checkout are for ground shipping. Items can also be shipped via Greyhound, however you are responsible for picking them up at your local Greyhound station. To choose this option, please email orders@apt528.com BEFORE purchasing.
Local customers can also choose to pick up their items here in Chicago (60622) or have them delivered for a small fee. Please see the individual product page for details.
INTERNATIONAL
Apartment 528 ships internationally! International customers are responsible for any additional fees that may come up at customs. Due to various customs regulations in each country, Apt528 cannot guarantee the delivery date of international orders.

GIFT WRAPPING
Purchasing a gift? Most Apt528 products qualify for gift wrapping. $1 will be charge per item. If ordering multiple products, they will be packaged together, unless otherwise specified. Items are wrapped in brown kraft paper and tied with colorful ribbon. Your gift tag (optional) will be attached. See the individual product page to see if it qualifies gift wrapping. Note: some handmade items come directly from the designer and may arrive in different packaging.
RETURNS
Need to make a return? Don't worry, returns are easy with Apartment 528! Simply send an email to orders@apt528.com with the reason for your return. A free return label will be emailed to you shortly. Affix the label to your package and drop off at your local shipping facility.
All returns must be made within 14 days of delivery. Store credit (less original shipping fees) will be issued within 3 days after the return is received by Apartment 528. Items must be returned in their original, unused condition in order to receive credit.
