Cordinated
Juli and Dan, Owner and Engineer

Cordinated was started by Juli and Dan. We are two musicians living in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago who are tired of seeing boring black music equipment littering our loft / practice space. The room really needed more color, so we started wrapping our cables with bright yarn. It really brought them back to life and gave them a great aesthetic quality for a normally overlooked, but necessary piece of gear.

Then we decided to start making them on our own. Dan was already spending most of his free time, outside of being a real mechanical engineer, learning the electrical side of things. He was building tube amps and hand-wired effects pedals that began to take over our dining room. It was a simple step to start soldering cables together for Juli to use all her extra knitting yarn stash to wrap them. It got out of control very quickly and a few craft fairs later...

Sweetnature Designs
Beth Tobey, Designer

Beth Tobey grew up in the Northwest and currently lives in a Seattle suburb with her husband and two school-aged children. Her company, sweetnature designs, began as an avenue to share her love of color and whimsy with others.

She starts her days with a run, which is her thinking time, and then fills the remainder of the day with creating new designs either in her mind or with her hands. Working with ink and fabric allows Beth to combine her love of texture, sewing, color, painting and illustration all at the same time! Her items are all meticulously hand printed with her own illustrations. The designs are whimsical and eclectic, and designed to brighten up your home and or your life.

Beth has designed four product lines consisting of kitchen towels, scarves, bags, and pillow covers. She has created elegant and stylish linen and cotton tea towels, practical yet whimsical fabric bags and purses, colorful and breezy cotton scarves, and eclectic pillow covers.

Valérydesignwrks
Valéry Goulet, Designer & Illustrator

I am a designer and illustrator. I was born in Québec, where I grew up and learned plenty of great things that made me a strong, imaginative and dedicated person. My formal education is in graphic design and multimedia, however my entire life has always revolved around drawing ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil.

I absolutely love what I do. In October 2002, I moved to Alberta in search of new inspiration, opportunities and other great things to learn. I currently reside in Edmonton and work full time as an Art Director in the graphic design industry for
McRobbie Optamedia.

Over the past few years I have also had the amazing opportunity to work on a lot of exciting projects on both corporate and personal levels through the company I founded, Valerydesignwrks. My work has been exhibited in different galleries and I participated in special projects such as longboards, clothing, ceramic and wall application designs. These projects opened up a wealth of fun commissioned projects that also rewarded me with awards, something that I definitely take a lot of pride in.
